‘Establishment can’t accept that their world is upside down’

February 27, 2018

DEMOCRATIC DEFICIT: “When you have the attempted nullification project that is going on here that is led by Antifa, (Open Borders Foundation boss) George Soros, and CNN and they trying to nullify what you chose in 2016 and at the same time in the United Kingdom there is a Brexit nullification in place, they trying to do to us our voices and our choices they are trying to do to you.” – Raheem Kassam on the mainstream media, establishment politicians and global corporations.

AESOP’S FABLE: “Let me tell you I’ve never been to Russia; I’ve never been to Moscow and I’ve never met a Russian operative or agent. I’ve never done business in Russia. I’ve never taken money from Russia. I may be guilty of drinking the odd Russian vodka but I know from my own part in this story that it can be summed up in one simple term – it is fake news.” – Nigel Farage on allegations by mainstream media organistions linking him to a Russian plot to sabotage the US presidential election.

SECOND CAMPAIGN? “If they do – in the worst case scenario – overturn that result and insult the intelligence and decency of the British people by making us have that vote again. I will tell you one thing I will be heading straight back to the front line of that campaign.” – Nigel Farage on threats by Remain campaigners to overturn the 2016 EU Referendum result.

THE future of the United Kingdom and the United States are inextricably linked through their shared experiences from Donald Trump’s presidential election and Brexit.

This was the focus of observations made by Breitbart News editor Raheem Kassam and UKIP leader and prominent Leave campaigner Nigel Farage at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) that took place at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in the state of Maryland. The full version of their contributions can be viewed here.

‘Our fates are inextricably linked’

On introducing Mr Farage as the main speaker, Mr Kassam said: “I believe the fate of our nations are inextricably linked not just through history but right now in the present.

“When you have the attempted nullification project that is going on here that is led by Antifa, (Open Borders Foundation boss) George Soros, and CNN and they trying to nullify what you chose in 2016 and at the same time in the United Kingdom there is a Brexit nullification in place, they trying to do to us our voices and our choices they are trying to do to you.”

‘I’ve never been to Russia’

In his main speech, Mr Farage was adamant that constant campaigns by papers such as the Guardian, the Independent, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times and other Anglo-American publications to put him at the centre of a “spider’s web” of Russian-financed links as “fake news”.

“If you read centre left broadsheet newspapers in the US and the UK you will be aware that I too am a person of interest to the FBI. I’ve been running memory sticks back and forth from the White House and the Kremlin to Assange.

“I really hadn’t realised that I was that important. I’m told the next time I put my foot on US soil, I will be arrested and put in front of the Muller investigation over what is without doubt is that I’ve been funded by the Russians my entire political career.

‘This can be summed up in one term – fake news’

“Let me tell you I’ve never been to Russia; I’ve never been to Moscow and I’ve never met a Russian operative or agent. I’ve never done business in Russia.

“I’ve never taken money from Russia. I may be guilty of drinking the odd Russian vodka but I know from my own part in this story that it can be summed up in one simple term – it is fake news.

“It is fake news to say the President colluded with the Russians in his election campaign. They will never accept that their view of the world has been turned upside down and they will keep trying to damage the reputation of everybody involved in the conservative patriotic movement.”

‘Unholy trinity could thwart Brexit’

Mr Farage is concerned that Brexit could be overturned by globalist corporations and their political allies but should they prevail, he will go back on the campaign trail if the 2016 referendum result is disregarded.

“There is an attempt by that unholy trinity of big business, big banks and big politics to stop Brexit from happening. We are due to leave the European Union on 29 March 2019 and they will do everything they can to frustrate the will of 17.4 million people.

‘I will campaign again if 2nd referendum is called’

“My gut feeling is that we will just about get there but we may not. If they do – in the worst case scenario – overturn that result and insult the intelligence and decency of the British people by making us have that vote again. I will tell you one thing I will be heading straight back to the front line of that campaign.

“The one thing I’ve learned from being involved in campaigns in Britain, all over Europe and America is that democracy, liberty and freedom done come for nothing.

‘Keep working hard to ensure victory is permanent’

“Unless you’re prepared to fight and battle for those things constantly that as soon as you stop pedalling, the establishment will try strike back and try to take those things away.

“We must feel immensely proud that in the last couple of years that we have managed to change the course of history.

“What we have got to make sure that change of direction and change of history is not just a short-term phenomenon and we’ve got to keep fighting and keep working to make sure that our victory is permanent.”
