‘Is this the most brutal betrayal of Western values in modern times?’

November 21, 2017

GERMAN LINKS: “We were stunned to see German graffiti in the small chapel of the church in Nineveh plains of Iraq. What was with the German anti-Christian bigotry in Iraq? Obviously a German-born or educated Muslim goes to Iraq to kill and rape and that in Batnaya, Iraq, a place you will never go to I’m sure.” – Ezra Levant of Rebel Media TV.

SHAMEFUL LEGACY: “They have a specifically anti-Christian (and other minorities) refugee program. It is almost like they are cornering them, fencing them and unleashing the bullets on them. This shift away from the genuine refugees and the victims of this area to groups that can include the perpetrators is I think one of the great betrayals of history.” – Stefan Molyneux of Freedom Domain Radio.

BRUTAL TREATMENT: “The ISIS favoured the Yazidis for sex slaves because so many of them have blue eyes and blond hair. It is quite startling that you’re in this 45’C desert and you come across blond-haired blue-eyed people. The Islamic State kept thousands of Yazidi women as sex slaves.” Picture courtesy of Change.org

FOUND OUT: Immigration Minister Brandon Lewis was forced to release the breakdown of the refugee make-up of those dispersed under the UK Government’s Syria Vulnerable Persons Relocation Scheme. The Home Office nearly faced contempt of court proceedings for obfuscating on a Freedom of Information request from the Barnabas Fund. The Conservative Government and the Labour Party proclaim their commitment to equality but minority refugees were not re-settled in numbers in the vulnerable relocation programme as a proportion of their population within Syria. Picture by Chris McAndrew.

MINORITIES who were victims of genocide in the Middle East have been thrown under the bus by the UK Government and United Nations.

What has it got to do with Somerset and Dorset? Well I have links to third parties who know people from the Syrian Christian communities living locally and our communities have the right to know why the most vulnerable and genuine refugees are NOT being prioritised in the Home Office’s Syrian Vulnerable Persons Relocation Scheme.

Home Office blocked FoI request

The sick truth is the same department obfuscated on a Freedom of Information request by the Barnabas Fund to reveal the make-up of refugees taken into the UK under this Department of International Development-funded scheme.

Why should we listen to the Labour Party, the Liberal Democrats or the Conservatives on their character assassination of the general public if they dare to question equality and diversity policy and having respect for minorities, when in 2016, out of 7,500 Syrian refugees received into the UK, they took in only 27 Christians, 15 Shiite Muslims and five Yazidis. The rest of the people – were from the Sunny Muslim majority.

Refugee intake from majority, not minorities

So if the Shiite Muslim population is 1.5 per cent, the Christian population is 10 per cent and 0.5 per cent were Yazidis, this is for the benefit of councillors and politicians to work out the maths – they should have received 750 Christians, 112 Shiite Muslims and 38 Yazidis. In conclusion the majority benefits, not the minorities, so much for protecting minorities.

On 19 September the Home Office was asked by the Information Commissioner to release this information within 35 calendar days or face contempt of court proceedings.

This information was only released by Brandon Lewis, the immigration minister, after the Barnabas Fund contacted his office to alert him to ensure that Home Office civil servants complied with the order.

‘UK government has behaved shamefully’

Martin Parsons, head of research at the Barnabas Fund gave this devastating verdict: “This is shocking behaviour by both UN and UK officials. Christians and other minorities in the Middle East have been treated shamefully by the UN. And the UK Government has abjectly outsourced its own responsibilities to the victims of genocide in spite of repeated representations.”

And to take the rug from underneath from any smug politician or councillor in power who thinks it is ok to discriminate against these people in the name of equality, I found this podcast about this issue featuring personal testimony of Jewish journalist Ezra Levant of Rebel Media, who visited northern Iraq to see the Yazidis and Christians, and observations of atheist You Tuber Stefan Molyneux of Freedom Domain Radio. The full unedited transcript of this podcast is here.

I can’t cover everything covered in this exchange but challenge you to read the despatches from both of them below to get under a semblance of understanding of what the Mainstream Media has wilfully ignored.

‘If you asked or checked, wouldn’t you discriminate?’

Levant said: “When Lauren Southern (our reporter) went to the Calais Jungle, there are no women there, no girls or no children so if you are a Christian, a woman or weak in any way, the wolves will devour the lambs.

“These people are the intake from UN refugee programs. By definition they will exclude the lambs and favour the wolves.

“To give a Jewish analogy, it would be like people fleeing from Germany in the Second World War wouldn’t you want to check to see if you are a Jew or a Nazi, or would be somebody in between, you want to be discriminating, you would want to ask or check, we are doing the opposite.

‘ISIS took blond Yazidi women as sex slaves’

“The ISIS favoured the Yazidis for sex slaves because so many of them have blue eyes and blond hair. It is quite startling that you’re in this 45’C desert and you come across blond-haired blue-eyed people. The Islamic State kept thousands of Yazidi women as sex slaves. I met a Yazidi rape slave in Germany who lost count when she told me she was raped 240 times she stopped counting.”

‘For God sake take the lambs, not the wolves’

“A Christian town that hears that ISIS is coming has three choices – it is like an edict or Nuremberg laws or posted fatwa – you must convert to Islam, bend the knee and pay the Jizya tax and other humiliations or some subordinations or be killed by the sword.

“ I’ve seen these pamphlets with my own eyes. If you saw them, wouldn’t you flee? If we are going to have these refugee programs, for God sake take the lambs instead of wolves.”

Levant and his colleague Faith Goldie went with two bodyguards to the Christian town of Batnaya, on the border of Iran and Iraq after it had been sacked by ISIS and recently liberated.

‘Terrorists desecrated cemetery despite being under siege’

Levant asks the viewer to imagine a Daesh fighter hemmed in from all sides by Iranian-backed Shia militas, the Kurdish Peshmerga and the US and Russian Air Forces but has the time to do this.

“You make time in your day to go to the Christian cemeteries to break the crosses and smash icons of Jesus and Mary. You’re in a siege but you make time to desecrate a cemetery.

‘It was about breaking Jesus and the Cross’

“The only time I have seen desecrated cemeteries were Jewish cemeteries from the 1930s and 1940s. They used the cross as the bullseye. They used Christian prayer books for target practice. Any wooden cross they found they would break it.  It was about breaking Jesus and breaking the cross. What was said on the walls in Arabic was ‘You Christian slaves, get out or we’ll kill you’.

Levant and his colleague Faith Goldie were stunned to see German graffiti amongst the Arab graffiti consisting of unprintable insults directed at the residents of the Christian village.

‘German jihadist was in Batnaya’

“What was with the German anti-Christian bigotry in Iraq? Obviously a German-born or educated Muslim goes to Iraq to kill and rape and that in Batnaya, Iraq, a place you will never go to I’m sure. There are no Jews in Iraq but there Christians getting the full genocide treatment and I can see it with my own eyes.

“What happened to that terrorist? Was he killed in the liberation of the town? I hope so. Or did he melt in with refugees, get into a UN camp and is he back in Germany?

‘Did war criminal survive bombing and return home?’

“This guy is battle-heartened, tasted blood, numb to murder, part of a chain of command, weapons training. Terrorism went from Germany to Batnaya but did it go back to Germany as a war vet, still part of a chain of command to do things in Europe? I don’t know.”

In response Molyneux highlighted how the Germans kept war booty and treasures but Daesh completely destroyed all Christian relics.

‘These communities go back 1,400 years’

He said: “The Germans came across treasures in conquered lands – they kept them, they moved them. They stole them, it is better than destroying them, so at least they can be recovered afterwards. Seeing the desecration of these holy places and these aesthetic treasures of Iraq it is clearly appalling when you think of how long these communities last – they go back to John the Baptist, 1,400 plus years.

“These treasures are from hundreds, sometimes thousands of years ago and are destroyed in a moment and people need to grit their teeth and look at this stuff. It pissed off the hell out of me. The human life is the first and most important thing but the history, the culture, the identity, the faith, the meaning has all been shredded. This all needs to be seen as this will arouse sympathy for its victims.

‘Western arming of jihadis triggered genocide’

“This anti-Christian hatred of the left is almost a demonic force. (President) Obama had this anti-Christian refugee program.

“He pulls the troops out of Iraq, he and Hillary (Cliton) arm ISIS and al Qaeda. They arm the enemies of Christians, thus triggering this domino attack on Christians and then they have a specifically anti Christian (and other minorities) refugee program.

“It is almost like they are cornering them, fencing them and unleashing the bullets on them. This shift away from the genuine refugees and the victims of this area to groups that can include the perpetrators is I think one of the great betrayals of history.”

‘Has Chamberlain-style appeasement been repeated?’

“One of the great tragedies of history is that it gets clearer as you go forward. What was the pattern of appeasement of Chamberlain in the 1930s under Western leaders. This pattern becomes clear just after the fact that this will be seen as one of the most brutal betrayals of Western values for Christian fellowship in the history of the West.”
