‘The world of tomorrow is based on empires, not nation states’

September 23, 2019

EUROPEAN EMPIRE: “In the world order of tomorrow is not a world order based on nation states or countries, it is a world world of empires in which we, Europeans, and you British can only defend your interest and your way of life by doing it together in the European framework and in the European Union.”

STRIKING BACK: “We have heard a lot about Emperor Verhofstadt’s plans to build a new European empire. Let’s face it, Mr Verhofstadt is the Darth Vader of Europe and this place is his death star, where national democracy comes to die. As for the empire, I am here for the 17.4 million to strike back.” – West Midlands Brexit MEP Martin Daubney.

DARK LORD: This street artist dressed as Darth Vader was someone I met when I recently visited London and is the character Brexit MEP Martin Daubney described Brexit parliamentary co-ordinator and Parliamentary Liberal group leader Guy Verhofstadt as in the European Parliament.

A PROMINENT voice from Europe came to Dorset this month to say the country’s future could only be forged as part of a new continental empire.

But critics dubbed him “Darth Vader” for his call to create an empire by bi-passing the outcome of the Brexit referendum and claiming that it was like playing a football game and “rigging the result”.

Special guest at Bournemouth conference

The European Parliament Brexit co-ordinator and leader of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe Guy Verhofstadt, says the UK should remain to become part of a European Empire and ditch its sovereign status.

He was speaking as a special guest speaker at the Liberal Democrat conference at the Bournemouth International Centre in Dorset on 15 September. He was previously welcomed on the platform by Liberal Democrat leader Jo Swinson.

Mr Verhofstadt controversially claimed that India was not a country on account of the different nations and its peoples, languages and religions within its borders and the future if the world was rooted in globalism, not nation states.

‘World of tomorrow is global, not sovereign’

“In the world order of tomorrow is not a world order based on nation states or countries, it is a world order based on empires. China is not a nation, it is a civilization. You know better than I do that India is not a nation.

“There are two hundred nations in India and there are 20 different languages that are used there. There are four big religions there but at the same time it is the biggest democracy worldwide.

‘UK future only secure in the EU’

“The United States (US) is also an empire , more than a nation may be tomorrow they will speak more Spanish than English , I don’t know what will happen.

“The world of tomorrow is a world of empires in which we, Europeans, and you British can only defend your interest and your way of life by doing it together in the European framework and in the European Union.

‘Standards stay the same as long as UK stays with project’

Mr Verhofstadt said current standards of living EU citizens enjoy could only be maintained by staying within Europe

“Those who want to defend their standard of living; social standards; our ecological and labour standards know they can only do this in the framework of Europe. and inside the centre of Europe Britain that its responsibilities and not leave this great project.”

‘One minute response to seven-minute speech’

Three days later Mr Verhofstadt, as the leader of the European Liberal group, was allowed to give a seven-minute speech to the Parliament by the speaker without any interruptions and he took the opportunity to attack his opponents. They in turn were only given a minute to give a response.

However, Brexit MEP Martin Daubney, formerly the longest serving editor of the men’s magazine Loaded, took Mr Verhofstadt to task over comments he made that the UK Parliament was more of a passing resemblance to Communism, than the Commission itself.

‘Guy is the Darth Vader of Europe’

Mr Daubney said: “We have heard a lot about Emperor Verhofstadt’s plans to build a new European empire. Today he compared Boris Johnson to Mrs Doubtfire.

“Let’s face it, Mr Verhofstadt is the Darth Vader of Europe and this place is his death star, where national democracy comes to die. As for the empire, I am here for the 17.4 million to strike back.

“We’ve been treated with contempt despite paying £36B’

“Seventy-five years ago fought and died on European soil fighting fascism. Today we are here to liberate the United Kingdom from the European Union. For the past three years – despite paying £1B per month for membership – we have been treated with nothing but contempt. Today, it got worse, the so-called level playing field. .

“I would hate to play football against you Mr Barnier. the match would be rigged. Brexit shows that the European Union does not believe in democracy.”

Everybody needs to protect their nation state and prevent, ‘clowns’ like Verhofstadt from deceiving people and damaging cultures.

I shall have to thank Guy Verhofstadt one day. Repugnant though I find him and his views, he has never once made any secrets of his ambitions, or his absolute contempt for people like me.
In that regard he has unwittingly made himself into an exceptional recruiting sergeant for Leavers right across Europe.

Brilliant write up, #Brexiteers need their light sabre to be fully charge and swinging to demote this piece of #EU trash to the comic he is.
One day Twitter, Facebook and You Tube will join together and be called You Twit Face.
