‘There should be no path to a green Utopia that is dependent on force’

POWER CRAZY: “We believe finally – and most absolutely – that your so-called emergency and the panic you sowed because of it means that you should be ceded all necessary authority, so, leave us alone, you centralizers of power, you worshippers of Gaia, you sacrificers of the wealth and property of others, you would-be planetary saviours, you Machiaveillian pretenders and virtue-signalers, objecting to power all the while gathering it around you. Leave us alone.” Picture by Gage Skidmore

REVOLTING PEASANTS: “This is stirring revolt. Dutch farmers and fishermen are rising and pushing back and such protests are spreading and increasing in intensity as they should. Why? Because Deloittes and like-minded centralists are pushing things too far. It will not produce the results they are hypothetically intending.”

A DISSENTING voice from the intellectual establishment has stated the case that it will be the poor who will suffer from climate change edicts pushed by globalist institutions.

Canadian clinical psychologist, media personality and author Jordan Peterson says protests from the Dutch farmers, Canadian truckers and others are necessary to push back against plans to a hypothetical world of Net Zero from the World Economic Forum and the United Nations where basic humanity has been abandoned. He was speaking on his own channel.

He cited the work of Danish activist Bjorn Lomborg. author of the Skeptical Environmentalist, Marion Toomey and Matt Ridley on how dollars spent could be used to ensure the future health, productivity and environmental stewardship of poor children in developing countries or making actual steps to remediate the pain and deprivation of such children as opposed to the hypothetical world of future children.

‘Globalists are pushing things too quickly’

“This is stirring revolt. Dutch farmers and fishermen are rising up, Canadian truckers are pushing back and such protests are spreading and increasing in intensity as they should. Why? Because Deloittes and like-minded centralists are pushing things too far. It will not produce the results they are hypothetically intending.

“This agenda justified by ’emergency’ will make everyone poorer, particularly those who are already poor.

“This use of emergency force will make the lives of the working men on whom we all depend on our daily bread and shelter more difficult and less rewarding.

‘Emergency use of force will make environment worse’

“Finally, this emergency use of force will the environment worse, not better. Why? If you wreak your temporary economic havoc, to eventually remediate the world, those whom you sacrifice so casually in the attempt will descend into chaos. In that chaos, they will by necessity turn their attention to matters of immediate survival and in a manner that will stress and harm the complex ecosystems that can only be maintained through the long-term view that prosperity and nothing else makes possible.

Peterson urged those who gathered at Davos having travelled there in modes of transport they want everyone else to abandon to set their own example of abandoning their lifestyles whilst telling everyone else to sacrifice theirs.

‘Don’t lecture anyone else unless you set an example’

He said “Abandon your position of planet-devouring wealthy privilege. Join with the aesthetic order, graze with the cattle. Purchase an electric car if you want one but no emergency diesel-powered back up vehicle or electric power generator for you.

“Stop flying, stop driving for that matter. Get on your bike in the three-piece business suite if you dare.

“I’ll splash you with icy and salty slush as I drive by in my evil but warm Four by Four Ford Bronco SUV and help you derive the consequent delicate pleasure of your own narcissitic martyrdom. Save the planet with your own choices but quit demanding the rest of us blindly follow your diktats.

‘We’re not evil just because we won’t bow down to you’

“Quit demonizing and castigating us merely because we don’t just happily cede to you all the extent power.

“We are not evil just because we don’t believe your are omniscient. We’re not evil just we don’t want to assume omnipotence and omnipresence too.

‘Green revolution shouldn’t mean making everyone poorer’

“There is simply not pathway forward to the green and equitable utopia that necessitates the impoverishment of the already poor, the compulsion of the working class or the sacrifice of economic opportunity or security on the food, energy and housing front.

“There is no pathway forward to the global utopia you hypothetically value that is dependent on force.”

“Make the poor rich and the planet will improve, or at the very least get out of their way while they try to make themselves rich.

“Make the poor poorer and this is the concrete plan, remember, things will get worse, perhaps more worse than one imagining, look at the chaos in Sri Lanka, if you need proof.

In a footnote delivered to CEOs such as Jeff Bezos, Warren Buffeet, Mark Zuckerburg, Larry Ellison, heads of Government and many other of the lecturing elites.

‘Your existential terror will fail to overwhelm global community’

“Just to address your existential terror, particularly, when it will fail to do so in any case.

“We will not allow our children to be criticized for merely having the temerity to merely exist, and then deprived of the prosperous and opportunity rich future which we strived so hard to prepare for them.

“We remain unconvinced that your self-congratulatory and moralizing pretention, ignorance of the limitation of statistics and misuse of arithmetic.

‘Why should we submit to narcissistic martyrs?’

“We believe finally – and most absolutely – that your so-called emergency and the panic you sowed because of it does not means that you should be ceded all necessary authority, so, leave us alone, you centralizers of power, you worshippers of Gaia, you sacrificers of the wealth and property of others, you would-be planetary saviours, you Machiavellian pretenders and virtue-signallers, objecting to power all the while gathering it around you. Leave us alone.”
