‘They just spin a web and lies to fit their political agenda’

April 7, 2021

FAKE NEWS: “This is why nobody takes anything these people seriously anymore and they won’t ever again. They are not objectively reporting information and news. They are spinning a web of lies and deceit in order to fit their political activism agenda. The legacy media is dead and legacy media activists have killed it.” Andrew Torba, CEO of Gab, on the publishing of interactions with Business Insider and other mainstream news organisations and what it revealed.

REAL AGENDA: This was a comment allegedly made by Yelena Dzhanova of Business Insider, who was contacting Andrew Torba of Gab on whether Qanon followers were migrating from Big Tech platforms to his own and other independent platforms to spew what they perceive to be “white supremacism” and “Make America Great Again” nationalism.

THE behaviour of the mainstream media in their conduct with small independent platforms has been laid bare for all to see.

Andrew Torba, the chief executive of alternative social media platform Gab, took the trouble to publish every interaction he had with them after it was launched as he knew they were going to target him and his team personally with any smears they could get to stick labels of “white supremacy” and “far-right nationalism”.

In an e-mailed blog sent to members of the platform, Mr Torba revealed he was approached by a journalist of eastern European origin, Yelena Dzhanova, on behalf of Business Insider to ask him why so many supporters of the Qanon movement had moved from Facebook and Twitter to Gab.

‘I think of journalism is just a form of activism – MSM reporter’

In anticipation of the hit-piece Ms Dzhanova planned for Mr Torba, he published his immediate response on his blog and unearthed a spotlight on her from her studies at the Baruch College Alumni Association where she appears to admit “journalism as a form of activism”.

Mr Torba wrote in this despatch: “I’m just one guy publishing some e-mail exchanges with the legacy press and I’m getting more views than all of them combined with their vast legacy platform distribution and endless resources. This is the future of media and I hope to encourage others to follow my lead.

‘In behaving in this way they are annihilating their profession’

“You have to give credit to her (Ms Dzhanova) for being honest. She’s a political activist posing as a journalist, but at least she admits it. The central irony here is that by behaving this way her and her colleagues are annihilating their profession.

“This is why nobody takes anything these people seriously anymore and they won’t ever again. They are not objectively reporting information and news.

“They are spinning a web of lies and deceit in order to fit their political activism agenda. The legacy media is dead and legacy media activists have killed it.”

‘Paper pushed lockdown fear porn but forgot the consequences’

In my own investigations, I found that the Daily Express, a UK tabloid that many thought had right-of-centre leanings had for the most part been excitedly pushing the lockdowns on the British public without bothering to have any concern that the infra-structure of small business that underpins it will collapse because that sector of the economy cannot continually absorb the continuous financial carnage of the revolving lockdowns. They keep saying they are “for the country”

Back in 28 October 2020, this same newspaper clearly were happy to push polls from The Washington Post and ABC News projecting he would lose the states of Michigan and Wisconsin despite the fact that the US broadsheet and national broadcaster respectively had been found wanting in trying to get everyone to believe that they were impartial.

‘They only asked about his cognitive issues once he became President’

The Daily Express clearly knows that Donald Trump filled stadiums with tens of thousands of supporters and Joe Biden was barely campaigning, let alone able to string a sentence without making gaffes or being protected by his handlers and Big Tech platforms like Facebook and Twitter.

Many videos showed that the current President was in cognitative decline – and still is, and yet many of them were deleted as a way of protecting him from embarrassment.

Fast forward to 26 March this year and the Express commented on his first solo press conference after 60 days in office which ended when he left the podium after taking one question and not finishing his answer, and then returning to the podium again to say he was leaving.

It would appear that Donald Trump, for his faults and weaknesses, seemed to be much better at processing the facts quickly than the sitting president is.

‘Public and MSM have mutual contempt for each other’

The Express clearly knows this and gives the impression that the reader wasn’t aware of this months ago and that they are totally stupid.

To say there isn’t a disconnect between the average journalist in legacy media and the ordinary punter they write for clearly shows there is actually mutual contempt for one another as opposed to respect.
